Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka's birthplace was Minsk which is located in Belarus. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her father, a hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born Minsk, Belarus on May 5th, 1998. In her career she has won twelve WTA singles titles including a Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. Also, she is a great doubles player she has two other Majors in this area, that include the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both by Elise Mertens. With the Belgian tennis player, she also won the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells as well as Miami in 2019, thus completing an appearance in the Sunshine Double. The women's doubles had only four teams achieve this feat. It was only four couples that achieved this feat during women's doubles. The Belarusian rose into the top spot of the doubles ranking the next year after triumphing in Melbourne. It made her the second Belarusian tennis player be successful in tennis. Her coach was the former Russian tennis champion Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the close of the season in 2019 and partially at the start of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann worked with her for short periods between August 2020 and September. She is being trained by her nationman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Her idols include Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
